Dundee dealt new destination
Scotland’s dundee airport has been connected with Belfast/ City following its introduction from Loganair in September. The twice-weekly rotation — operated by its ATR 42-500 turboprops on Fridays and Sundays — has revealed strong demand, and accordingly,the airline has revealed aims to increase the frequency up to a four-times-weekly connection by March 29, 2021.
Mark Flynn, convener of Dundee City Council’s city development committee, said:”Like Dundee, Belfast is one of the quickest growing and most fascinating city destinations at this time, so it makes perfect sense that the two ought to be combined by a speedy and efficient air connection.
“Establishing this route to complement the [six-weekly London/City] support is a significant boost to the airport, and we all look forward to welcoming many more visitors from throughout the Irish Sea as a consequence,” he further added.
