In early September 2020, the beauty community mourned the unexpected loss of one of its own. That is because Ethan Peters, aka Ethan Is Supreme, was reported dead — he was just 17,Influencer and YouTube celebrity Ethan Peters, known as Ethan Is Supreme, has died. He was 17.

Ethan’s departure drew a strong reaction in the attractiveness and YouTube community — people such as Tana Mongeau, Manny MUA and Grace Auten, amongst others, posted tributes for their late friend who was just getting his feet wet in the biz. He had upwards of 500k followers on IG, and was steadily growing his fan base with makeup tutorials and fashion line shoots.
So what happened to the influencer/makeup ace? Let’s take a closer look at the situation surrounding his tragic and untimely death.

Up and coming beauty influencer Ethan Peters — AKA, Ethan is Supreme — has died… according to people nearest to him.

Rest in peace, Ethan Peters. The YouTube celebrity and attractiveness influencer, called Ethan Is Supreme, has died, his buddies affirmed on social media. He was 17. His very best friend, Ava Louise, noted that his struggles with dependence on social media and has been posting tools for those struggling with substance abuse.
Tragic passing: Even though details are scarce, he seems to have overdosed (possibly on Percocet) over the weekend
The gifted makeup artist, who hailed from Texas, was battling with addiction, based on Louise. I needed to pull Ethan apart lately and have talks with him about his usage. Everyone near him was scared,” she shared on Sunday. “I just wish I ing strove harder I f–ing want I yelled at him I wish I didn’t enable one pill that he popped.”
“attracts your friends from it before it’s to [sic] late. Get your buddies REAL help before it’s to [sic] overdue,” Louise continued. “Ethan told me a week back he desired help…I want I forced him I want I cried at him. I f–ing want I didn’t let him do pills facing me. This pain is crazy.”
Peters seems to have passed away this weekend by an apparent overdose of everything might be Percocet (an opioid)… this according to his best friend and musician Ava Louise, that claims the man had an addiction he developed over the last couple years or so. About one year ago he switched to drugs due to the pressure of being famous online at such a young age,” Ava shared, including,”He became debatable lately because of drug induced mania. He’s a good f–king person. He didn’t deserve to die.”

“I am quite blessed to have known you you gave me so much and helped me so much.
Others in the wonder space and YouTube community spoke out about Ethan’s passing. “I know he has made many many mistakes… but to say he deserved to pass away is horrible and inhuman. I beg for his loved ones and loved ones, a dreadful loss.”
Influencer Grace Anne Auten shared Instagram,”I love you. I can’t think I must say goodbye soon. We just talked a few days ago, when you sent me a video of the disposables that had just come in out of your visit here. F–k. I f–king despise it. I wish I could state more..but there just aren’t any words. I adore you. I think you are still here .”

Tana Mongeau submitted a tribute to Ethan on her Instagram Stories and uploaded a throwback image of her with all the celebrity. “the caption,” she wrote with a sad-face emoji. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Should you require anything hit out please.”
Based on Ava Louise, that had been Ethan’s best buddy, the makeup artist was allegedly struggling with addiction.

“My best friend in the whole world, my twin flame….the only man there for me when I had no one,” she wrote on Twitter on Saturday, Sept. 5. I wish I knew how awful it was. I understand what you would want me to say to the Internet rn but I am to heartbroken to state it. Rip.”
“Addiction is a disease. I needed to pull Ethan aside in recent weeks and also have talks with him about his usage. Everyone near him was scared,” she continued. “I just want I f–king tried harder.”
“My very best friend in the whole world, my twin fire….the single person there for me when I had no one,” Ava composed on Twitter. I wish I knew how bad it was. I know what you’d want me to convey to the Internet rn but I am to heartbroken to state it. Rip.”

Peters began his YouTube career on April 24, 2017. By 2019, he gathered more than 500,000 followers on Instagram and over 140,000 subscribers on YouTube.
Prior to breaking into the beauty world, Peters conducted a successful meme accounts (Betch) which he grew to 1.3 million followers before selling it for $25,000 at only 13 years old.

“After I watched these boy beauty gurus become big and it just motivated me to start a brand new chapter in social networking, I just needed my head to be known,” he said in a 2019 interview.
In that same interview, Peters stated influencer Tana Mongeau was someone that he”always appeared to.”

Mongeau also mourned Peters on Sunday, sharing an Instagram Story that read,”rip angel. My heart goes out to his family and friends. If u need anything reach out please.
