Plaza Premium Couch goes Stateside
DALLAS/FORT WORTH became Plaza Premium’s maiden lounge in the United States after its opening in September. Located at the airport’s Terminal E, the new centre intends to provide passengers an authentic Texan experience, together with 3D ceramic tiling in the shape of the country behind the pub, along with locally sourced food and beverages.
The centre, which covers an area of more than 1,400 sq ft, offers clients Wi-Fi, charging channels, dining and lounge seating. The site’s location in the terminal — reverse gate E31 — is near the airport’s Skylink transit train, providing passengers sufficient connections occasions.
Through the lounge, COVID-19 measures are implemented. These include social bookmarking, self-serving food options in addition to a continuing disinfectant plan of high-touch points.
Song Hoi-see, founder and CEO
Of Plaza Premium Group, stated:”[The] US marketplace is always a part of the strategic plan to enlarge [into] the Americas. We have been communicating with [Dallas/Fort Worth] while our staff worked to ensure that the new cleanliness protocol is set up when we are prepared to open. [Together with ] the airport’s national traffic resuming steadily since April, the most recent statistics [for its Texas gateway] revealed there were more than three million domestic passengers in July.” Dallas became the sixth largest Plaza Premium lounge in the Americas region after four in Canada — Edmonton, Toronto/Pearson,Vancouver and Winnipeg — and a single example at Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro/Galeão gateway.
