Chrissy Teigen Moves Forward After Loss After a month of independently mourning the loss of Jack, her third child with husband John Legend, Chrissy Teigen returned to societal websites on Oct. 27.
Sharing screenshots on Instagram of an essay she had written concerning the heartbreaking experience for the website Medium, the cookbook writer, 34, wrote,”I didn’t know how to return to real life so I wrote this piece with hopes that I can somehow move on.” From the essay Teigen disclosed that she was diagnosed with”withpartial placenta abruption,”which compelled physicians to induce her 20 weeks into her pregnancy following months of bed rest because of heavy bleeding. She sent Jack stillborn in late September, then she, her singer husband, 41, and her mother, Vilailuck,”held him and explained our very own private goodbyes.”
Though she had hoped that the essay would assist her to proceed with her life, Teigen stated she realized that”I do not wish to never remember Jack”–she and Legend got matching tattoos of his title in their wrists. Teigen also stated in her essay that Jack will live on in the memory of his two siblings, Luna, 4, and Miles, two, who will understand their brother as present”in the wind and trees and the butterflies they see.” She added,”Jack will always be loved.”
